1. Service and purpose
ReadAlmostEverything (RAE) is a curated reading-discovery service designed to help readers explore books across genres and reading lanes. It provides discovery, catalogue, progress, and external-reference information. It does not sell books, guarantee reading outcomes, or provide professional educational, medical, legal, or financial advice.
By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
2. Content and metadata
Book selections, genre groupings, summaries, reading lanes, ratings, cover images, page counts, languages, and other metadata may be curated internally or obtained from third-party sources. Information can be incomplete, delayed, revised, unavailable, or associated with a different edition.
RAE does not warrant that every title, author, cover, rating, edition, price, or purchase link is current or error-free. Readers should verify important details with the publisher, bookseller, library, or another authoritative source.
3. External services and links
The service may display metadata from Open Library and links to booksellers or other third-party websites. External websites have their own terms, privacy practices, pricing, stock, and security controls. A link does not imply endorsement, and LT3 is not responsible for external content, transactions, or availability.
4. Acceptable use and admin access
You must not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, probe restricted systems, submit malicious content, automate abusive requests, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, or misrepresent your relationship with RAE or LT3.
Public browsing does not grant administrative rights. Catalogue editing, metadata refreshes, and other administrative operations are restricted to authorized LT3 administrators.
5. Intellectual property
The RAE name, interface, original curation, structure, and original written material belong to LT3 or its licensors. Book titles, covers, author names, publisher marks, metadata, and linked material remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and discovery.
6. Availability and liability
The service may be changed, suspended, restricted, or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, provider outages, or other operational reasons. To the extent permitted by Indian law, LT3 is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or third-party loss arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to access the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date and version identify the current document. Continued use after an update means the latest terms apply from their effective date.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory consumer and data-protection rights.
