1. Scope
This notice applies to the ReadAlmostEverything website, its anonymous public catalogue, and its restricted administrator tools. LT3 is the contact point for privacy questions and grievances.
2. Information handled
Public readers can browse without creating a profile. RAE does not intentionally collect a public reader’s name, mobile number, reading history, or public account details.
- For administrators, Supabase processes the authenticated email, user identifier, session tokens, and authentication events.
- The browser stores the selected light or dark theme locally on the device.
- Hosting, application, and security logs may contain timestamps, requested routes, technical error details, browser or network information, and IP addresses where supplied by the hosting platform.
- Administrative catalogue changes may record operational timestamps and the content saved by an authorized administrator.
3. How information is used
Information is used to operate and secure the service, authenticate administrators, preserve theme preference, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, maintain the curated catalogue, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
RAE does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for behavioural advertising.
4. Providers and external links
RAE uses Supabase for administrator authentication and database services and may use infrastructure providers for hosting, email delivery, logging, and network operation. Open Library may supply book metadata through restricted server operations.
Book purchase and reference links open independent third-party websites. Those services receive information according to the browser request and apply their own privacy notices. RAE does not control their processing.
5. Cookies and browser storage
RAE does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Supabase authentication uses browser storage necessary to maintain an administrator session, and RAE stores the theme preference under lt3_rae_theme. Clearing site data removes local preferences and may sign an administrator out.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for service operation, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, and authorized catalogue administration. Retention periods may differ between authentication, hosting, and operational providers.
LT3 uses access controls, restricted administrator routes, and reasonable technical safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can clear local browser storage to remove the theme preference. An administrator may request correction, access, or deletion of account-related personal data where applicable by contacting LT3. Identity verification may be required, and some records may be retained where law or security requires it.
8. Updates and contact
This notice may change when RAE’s features or providers change. The effective date and version identify the current notice.
Privacy questions, requests, and grievances can be sent to tim@lt3.co.in.
